Howdy! i'm patch! i am mostly a character artist but love, love, love doing other smaller works when i have the time! i also do game art from time to time. (2d assets, UI, 3d modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, set dressing, etc etc)I am married to a wonderful fellow creative writer/printmaker who inspires me daily! a lot of the work you will find here is from two different collaborative efforts between us: Last call and The network! they write and i draw it!

I earned my BFA in Illustration with a concept art emphasis (RMCAD 2023) and my MFA in interactive design and game development (SCAD 2026). Use & Intellectual Property Rights

• I own all rights to the work, unless otherwise discussed. You may neither sell nor exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, print or NFT, under any circumstances, unless you have my express written permission AND you have paid for the rights to do so.• Putting my work into any AI engine is prohibited and will put you on an immediate blacklist.• I am allowed to post the finished commission on my social media unless you have requested otherwise. Please message me before or during the sketch approval process if you would prefer me not to post.• I reserve the right to display commissions in my portfolio, even if full-use has been paid for.• All illustrated works will have my signature on it, an additional $20 will be charged to remove it. If this is equal to the full-use price, you will also receive full rights by default.• Reposting and sharing the COMPLETED artwork is OK, but you must give credit. Please see my social links for the appropriate user to tag; my user varies slightly from platform to platform.• To avoid art stealing or tracing by others, please DO NOT share the work in progress of the commission on socials or other sites, especially if the commission involves your characters or your personal projects.

Payments & Refunds

• Payment is via Paypal invoice card payment only, in USD. An invoice will be sent by me via the email you provided before the sketch process starts.
•I will NOT accept any kind of cryptocurrency as payment.•A deposit of 50% must be paid before I start working. Once the sketching process starts, this deposit becomes non-refundable.•Final payment is due upon completion. Please keep me updated if you cannot pay immediately. If there is no communication about final payment/or payment has not been received within 1 week of completion, an additional 5% charge will be added each day it is late. Deliverables will be sent upon final payment.•If I, for any reason, find myself unable to finish the commission (in whatever stage of the work I am), you will receive a full refund, and I will supply you with what work I have completed.•I will not redraw a completed commission unless payment is received for a second order.

Character Reference Specific TOS

• Commercial Rates for Character Sheets are 15%• Concept design price is rated for 2 hours! There will be unlimited revisions in the design/sketch phase so we can get your character perfect!

Revisions

• Once I send sketches over, please make sure you tell me immediately if you have any concerns or wish to change anything about the sketch. Its better to tell me before we move further into the piece.•Past the sketch stage, five (5) minor revisions may be requested. More than five (5) will incur an additional fee that must be paid in full before I proceed to make adjustments. Major revisions will incur additional fees past the sketch phase. NO REVISION REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED UPON COMPLETION.•Minor revisions include, but are not limited to: changing of color, slight posing tweaks (ie moving an arm up or down), anything that would generally take less than 10 minutes to fix. Major revisions include changing the posing, background elements, and anything that would require me to redraw major parts of the artwork.•Please know that while I do my best to archive commissions, I can not be liable for the product if you lose the file. Once I hand the deliverable over, it is your responsibility to take good care of it.

Rush Fees & Concept Design

• Please provide visual references. I need a good general idea of the character to give you an accurate price.•I WILL NOT ACCEPT AI GENERATED MATERIALS. If you knowingly submit AI generated work, I will NOT work with you and you will be put on a blacklist. If you unknowingly submit AI content, we can work together to find non-ai sources•Non-visual references are encouraged and I would love to know as much as I can about your characters! Providing full references helps me guarantee that I can better fulfill your request and avoid unnecessary mistakes in the process.•Please note that there will be additional fees if I am designing the character from the ground up without a clear character reference. This is the concept design fee, which is $35/hour of research.
Rush fees are +$50% of the total price.

Communication & Process/Turn Around

• Please wait patiently for your commission to be finished. Rush orders with a specific deadline will incur additional fees.•Outside of extenuating circumstances, commissions will take no longer than two (2) months to complete. Most are done sooner than that, however. I value quality and detail and thus put many hours into my drawings, so please be patient. You are welcome to ask for updates if there hasn't been one in a while! I will provide updates at the rough sketch, flat colors, and final check phases!•You may view the Commission Queue Trello at any time to see what stage your commission is at!
Upon starting, I will send progress images of the sketch for your review to approve or make revisions before I proceed to finish the artwork.•I will send frequent updates throughout the process for feedback. If i receive no response with no warning of you being unavailable for a time period after 48 hours, I will move on to the next step of the project. The free revisions for that stage have been forfeited at that point.•Any unpaid starting proposals/invoices will be archived after 30 days of no payment or further communication of a future payment. Please keep me updated if you are not interested in moving forward with me!•Once the finalized artwork is accepted and paid in full, I will email you full-res .png files of the work and watermarked .jpegs for social media posting. No physical product will be delivered.•Please be kind. Any aggressive, rude, or inappropriate behavior against me during the process will result in the cancellation of the commission. I will be keeping the non-refundable deposit (50% of the total price) in such a case where I cancel the commission due to inappropriate behavior, and there will be no deliverables.
